PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 6, 2020) Marines from 1st Reconnaissance Battalion, 1st Marine Division recover a combat rubber raiding craft using the stern ramp on board littoral combat ship USS Freedom (LCS 1). Embarked Marines and Sailors assigned to Freedom conducted small boat launch and recovery training, enhancing Navy and Marine Corps interoperability aboard littoral combat ships.
