McCain (DDG 56) man a refueling station as the ship conducts a replenishment-at-sea with the fleet replenishment oiler USNS Tippecanoe (T-AO 199). John S. McCain is assigned to Destroyer Squadron Fifteen (DESRON 15), the Navy's largest forward-deployed DESRON and the U.S. 7th Fleet's principal surface force.
