GULF OF OMAN (Oct. 8, 2020) The Royal Navy frigate HMS Montrose (F236) discharges fire hoses as part of a time honored tradition during a passing exercise with the guided-missile destroyer USS Sterett (DDG 104) in the Gulf of Oman. Sterett is part of the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group, deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations, currently supporting Operation Sentinel to ensure maritime security and stability in the critical waterways of the Central region.
