YOKOSUKA, Japan (Sept. 18, 2020) Sailors assigned to administrative department apply a splint to a simulated leg fracture during a medical training evolution aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19). Medical training evolutions test Sailors skills and knowledge on the proper treatment of medical casualties. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
