PHILIPPINE SEA (Sept. 29, 2020) An E-2D Hawkeye attached to the Tiger Tails of Airborne Command & Control Squadron (VAW) 125 participates in an air power demonstration, showcasing firepower capability and maneuverability while at sea in the Indo-Pacific region. Events included formation flybys, high-speed aerial turns and rocket shoots by Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5 aircraft, and a 5-inch gun shoot from guided-missile cruiser USS Antietam (CG 54). CVW-5 is currently embarked on the Navy’s only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Ronald Reagan, the flagship of Carrier Strike Group 5, provides a combat-ready force that protects and defends the United Sates, as well as the collective maritime interests of its allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
