CRETE, Greece (Aug. 30, 2020) Sailors assigned to the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58) wave to the sailors aboard the Italian navy guided-missile destroyer Luigi Durand de la Penne (D 560), while sailing in Crete, Greece. Philippine Sea is currently deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners and U.S. national security interests in Europe and Africa.
