PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 14, 2020) An E-2D Hawkeye from the “Black Eagles” of Carrier Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 113 lands on the flight deck of the Nimitz-class nuclear aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN 70). Carl Vinson is currently underway with Carrier Air Wing Two, fully integrating and operating together for the first time since the addition of the F-35C Lightning II.
