CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (Sept. 18, 2020) U.S. Forest Service employees with the National Interagency Fire Center Training Cadre teach U.S. Marines with 7th Engineer Support Battalion (ESB), 1st Marine Logistics Group, the basics of wildland firefighting at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 18, 2020. Approximately 250 Marines and Sailors from 7th ESB will assist the U.S. Forest Service with the Creek Fire in Central California. Through U.S. Army North, U.S. Northern Command remains committed to providing flexible Department of Defense support to the National Interagency Fire Center to respond quickly and effectively to protect people, property and public lands.
