Robert Whited, right, a Korean War veteran, is awarded by Kyung Jae Park, the consul general of the Korean Consulate General in Los Angeles, during the 70th Anniversary of Operation Chromite on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, Sept. 12, 2020. Operation Chromite was a codename given for the surprise amphibious landing at the strategic port of Inchon on September 15, 1950.
