ATLANTIC OCEAN (Sept.12, 2020) Electronics Technician (Nuclear) 3rd Class Kevin Crockett, from Richmond, Virginia, assigned to the aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78), is pinned with a spot Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal by Capt. J. J. Cummings, Ford's commanding officer, during an awards at quarters ceremony, Sept. 12, 2020. Crockett received this award by combating a class alpha fire instinctively. Ford is underway in the Atlantic Ocean conducting carrier qualifications.
