MANAMA, Bahrain (Sept. 1, 2020) Senior Chief Hospital Corpsman Matthew Watton assists Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Joseph William verify his information on his examination answer sheet before starting the Navy-wide first class petty officer advancement exam onboard Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain. The exams are being administered in smaller groups of test takers to ensure that adequate social distancing can be maintained. Other COVID-19 mitigation measures including mandatory use of face coverings, hand sanitizer, medical questionnaire screenings and temperature checks, were implemented to ensure the safety of Sailors during the advancement exams. NSA Bahrain enables the forward operations and responsiveness of U.S. and allied forces in support of Navy Region Europe, Africa, Central�s mission to provide services to the fleet, warfighter and family.
