Anderson, commander, U.S. Special Operations Command Africa, left, and Maj. General David H. Tabor, commander, U.S. Special Operations Command Europe, during their visit to Naval Support Activity Souda Bay on the island of Crete, Greece, on August 29, 2020. The visit also included windshield tours of NSA Souda Bay facilities and the Marathi NATO Pier Complex. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
