PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 26 2020) MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 262 deploy a visit, board, search and seizure (VBSS) team aboard a suspect vessel, played by the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42), during a VBSS exercise. Germantown, part of the America Expeditionary Strike Group, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit team, is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, and serves as a ready response force to defend security and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
