PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 26, 2020) Marines with the Maritime Raid Force (MRF), 31st MEU prepare to conduct visit, board, search and seizure operations from MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopters assigned to the Archangels of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 25, Detachment 6, aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). America, flagship of the America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit team, is operating in the 7th fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners, and to serve as a ready response force to defend peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
