PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 2, 2020) Marine Corps Chief Warrant Officer 2 Jacqueline Hernandez, the Distribution Liaison Cell (DLC) officer in charge with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit, records shipping information after receiving a shipment aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8) in the eastern Pacific. The DLC mission is to provide general shipping, receiving, consolidated distribution and to maintain asset visibility throughout a sustained high operational tempo. The U.S. Navy and Marine Corps continue to combine efforts to refine and strengthen fundamental amphibious capabilities and reinforce the Navy-Marine Corps team.
