CONSTANTA, Romania, (Aug. 4, 2020) U.S. and Romanian navy explosive ordinance disposal technicians plan diving rotations during Eurasian Partnership Mine Countermeasures (EP MCM) 2020 exercise, Aug. 4, 2020. A diving rotation is deciding which team is going to be the water at a specific time, maintaining water safety. EP MCM is a multi-lateral engagement with U.S., Romanian and Bulgarian forces, focused on enhancing mine countermeasure operations in the Black Sea, while strengthening interoperability between allied forces. U.S. 6th Fleet, headquartered in Naples, Italy, conducts the full spectrum of joint and naval operations, often in concert with allied, joint, and interagency partners, in order to advance U.S. national interests and security and stability in Europe and Africa.
