ATLANTIC OCEAN (Aug 02, 2020) Lt. Rufus Mathews, a Navy chaplain, holds his first non-denominational service aboard the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Philippine Sea (CG 58). Mathews is the first permanently assigned chaplain on the ship in 10 years. Philippine Sea is underway as part of the maritime security operations training.
