NORFOLK (July 29, 2020) Sailors assigned to Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) prepare to administer COVID-19 tests at MARMC�s Production Facility as part of the Navywide Sentinel Surveillance Testing (SST) program. Fifty MARMC Sailors and civilian employees were tested during the SST, which enables the Navy to broadly test and detect asymptomatic COVID-positive individuals; assist in bounding the outbreak and detect any second wave or resurgence of the disease early. MARMC provides surface ship maintenance, management and oversight of private sector maintenance and fleet technical assistance to ships in the Mid-Atlantic region. (U.S. Navy Photo by Hendrick L.
