CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (July 31, 2020) Hospitalman Timothy Bilo, a hospital corpsman assigned to Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Corpus Christi, verifies patient information before collecting a specimen from a patient at Naval Health Clinic Corpus Christi as part of the Navy�s Sentinel Surveillance Testing program. Sentinel Surveillance Testing enables the service to detect asymptomatic COVID-positive individuals, assist in bounding an outbreak and detect any potential second wave or resurgence of the disease early.
