ARABIAN SEA (Aug. 1, 2020) Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman Apprentice Jacob Murray, from Bakersfield, Calif., assigned to Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 73, conducts maintenance on a rotor blade of an MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter on the flight deck of the Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Princeton (CG 59). Princeton is part of Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and is deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations to ensure maritime stability and security in the Central Region, connecting the Mediterranean Sea and Pacific Ocean through the western Indian Ocean and three critical chokepoints to the free flow of global commerce.
