200713-N-LZ839-1129 ATLANTIC OCEAN (07-13-2020) A landing craft, air cushion (LCAC), attached to Assault Craft Unit (ACU) 4, transports disembarking Marines assigned to the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) ashore from the well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Bataan (LHD 5). Bataan is operating in the Atlantic Ocean in support of naval operations to maintain maritime stability and security in order to ensure access, deter aggression and defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
