200702-N-AZ866-0031 NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY SOUDA BAY, Greece (July 2, 2020) A Sailor assigned to Naval Support Activity (NSA) Souda Bay, Greece, receives a bag of food from a morale, welfare and recreation (MWR) food service worker during the installation�s Independence Day Celebration, July 2, 2020. NSA Souda Bay got creative in order to hold the event during the COVID-19 pandemic, but they delivered an evening of fun that had Sailors celebrating the 244 years since America gained its independence. NSA Souda Bay is an operational ashore base that enables U.S., allied, and partner nation forces to be where they are needed when they are needed to ensure security and stability in Europe, Africa, and Southwest Asia.
