(Nov. 15, 2015) Volunteer referee Marcos Mora, a software engineer assigned to Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific debriefs drivers following their run during the SPAWAR-sponsored For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology (FIRST) LEGO league robotics qualifying tournament at Eastlake High School. More than 60 SPAWAR volunteers donated their time, including coaching and mentoring eighteen of the twenty-four competing teams. As the Navy's Information Dominance systems command, SPAWAR supports and strongly encourages students to pursue careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields.
