Donegan, commander, US Naval Forces Central Command, US 5th Fleet, Combined Maritime Forces, thanks a maritime enforcement training team, assigned to US Coast Guard Patrol Forces Southwest Asia, after an operations demonstration on base. US Coast Guard ships work alongside naval vessels to conduct maritime security operations in the Arabian Gulf. US maritime forces train with our regional partners for the protection of key infrastructure nodes in the region. These key infrastructures form the foundation for much of the region’s economic growth, stability and prosperity, and can significantly impact the global economy.
