150904-N-GM561-512 PACIFIC OCEAN (Sept. 4, 2015) U.S. Navy ships USS Boxer (LHD 4), USS Harper's Ferry (LSD 49), New Orleans (LPD 18), SS Curtiss (T-AVB 4), USS Somerset (LPD 25), Mexican Navy ships ARM Usumacinta (A 412) and ARM Revolucion (P 164), Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces ships JDS Hyuga (DDH 181), JDS Ashigara (DDG 178), JDS Kunisaki (LST 4003) participate in a photo exercise during Dawn Blitz 2015 (DB-15). Boxer is underway off the coast of Southern California participating in DB-15. DB-15 is a multinational training exercise being conducted by Expeditionary Strike Group 3 (ESG-3) and 1st Marine Expeditionary Brigade (1st MEB )to build U.S., Japan, Mexico and New Zealand's amphibious, and command and control capabilities through live, simulated, and constructive military training activities.
