Medical personnel from The Military Sealift Command hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) arrived in Kokopo to provide various medical services to patients during Pacific Partnership 2015. Mercy is in Papua New Guinea for its second mission port of Pacific Partnership. Pacific Partnership is in its tenth iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
