Chris Engdahl, Pacific Partnership 2015 mission commander, presents Januarius Vosiual, the Arawa chief of police, with a ship’s ball cap at the Arawa police station. Engdahl visited the police station to speak about the importance of leadership and to answer questions. The hospital ship USNS Mercy (T-AH 19) is at its second mission port of Papua New Guinea as part of Pacific Partnership 2015. Pacific Partnership is in its 10th iteration and is the largest annual multilateral humanitarian assistance and disaster relief preparedness mission conducted in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
