150616-N-XZ031-013 NORFOLK (June 16, 2015) Sailors and civilians from Commander, Operational Test and Evaluation Force (COTF) celebrate Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Pride Month at COTF headquarters. LGBT Pride Month was established in June 2009 to promote and encourage a celebration of honesty and openness within the LGBT community. COTF tests and evaluates the warfighting capabilities of platforms, aircraft and system operations utilized by U.S. Armed Forces under realistic operational conditions to determine their effectiveness, suitability and impact on mission accomplishment providing an important operational assessment on the procedures and tactics necessary for the development of new warfighting capabilities.
