150417-N-LG762-064 NEW ORLEANS (April 17, 2015) Aviation Boatswain’s Mates (Handling) 3rd Class Dustin Crawford, from Salisbury, N.C., and Devon Sabbs, from Chicago, both assigned to the amphibious assault ship USS Wasp (LHD 1), load mulch on to wheelbarrows at City Park in New Orleans as part of a community service event. Nearly 500 volunteers ranging from Sailors, Marines and foreign national sailors participated in the park beatification project. Wasp is participating in Fleet Week New Orleans 2015, a weeklong celebration and collaboration with the community of New Orleans with ships representing the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Coast Guard, as well as the Royal Navy and Royal Canadian Navy.
