150406-N-AD372-242 WATERS SOUTH OF THE KOREAN PENINSULA (April 6, 2015) Sailors aboard the mine countermeasures ship USS Chief (MCM 14) recover one of the ships mine neutralization vehicles following execution of mine sweeping training during Exercise Foal Eagle 2015. Chief is currently participating in Exercise Foal Eagle 2015, a series of annual training events that are defense-oriented and designed to increase readiness and maintain stability on the Korean Peninsula while strengthening the Republic of Korea - U.S. alliance and promoting regional peace and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
