McCain (DDG 56) during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO-197) as part of exercise Foal Eagle 2015. McCain is on patrol in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of responsibility supporting security and stability in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region. Foal Eagle is a series of defense-oriented annual training events designed to increase readiness and maintain stability on the Korean Peninsula while strengthening the Republic of Korea and U.S. alliance and promoting regional peace and stability of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
