Information Systems Technician 1st Class Jennifer Morgan from Commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet was selected as the Shore Sailor of the Year and Boatswain's Mate 1st Class Cedric D. Howard from Commander, Carrier Strike Group 1 was selected as the Sea Sailor of the Year. U.S. 3rd Fleet leads naval forces in the Eastern Pacific from the West Coast of North America to the international dateline and provides the realistic, relevant training necessary for an effective global Navy.
