161230-N-EO381-008 NORFOLK (Dec. 30, 2016) Sailors man the helm aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Nitze (DDG 94) as it returns to homeport at Naval Station Norfolk. Nitze, part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, conducted a 7-month combat deployment in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts to the U.S. 5th and 6th Fleet areas of operations.
