161217-N-XF387-094 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 17, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Joseph Lindor, attached to the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), helps a child from Shunko Gakuen Boys and Girls Home open a holiday present during a community relations project. Blue Ridge is currently in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
