USS Mason (DDG 87) Port Visit
161208-N-CL027-032 ROTA, Spain (Dec. 8, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Kaleb Lee, right, from Lufkin, Texas, and Seaman Jordan Smith, from St. Louis, perform morning colors on the flight deck of the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87). Lee works as an operations specialist responsible for the operation of tracking and navigation equipment while Smith works as a hospital corpsman responsible for providing health care aboard the ship. Mason, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is conducting naval operations in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of operations in support of U.S. national security interests in Europe.
