161130-N-ZO915-022 PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 30, 2016) Newly promoted Sailors stand with their frocking letters, while others wait to receive theirs during a promotion ceremony aboard USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74). During the ceremony, 247 Sailors who were selected for advancement to the next rank, received the authority to assume the title and wear the uniform of the next higher pay grade.
