161130-N-TQ690-006 TINH PROVINCE, Vietnam (Nov. 30, 2016) Local nationals excavate a unit during the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) recovery operation in the Nghe An Province, Vietnam. DPAA deployed seven experts to the area in hopes of recovering the remains of military personnel unaccounted-for from the Vietnam War. The mission of DPAA is to provide the fullest possible accounting for our missing personnel to their families and the nation.
