161120-N-DJ750-281 WELLINGTON, New Zealand (Nov. 20, 2016) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Sampson (DDG 102) transits the bay to the city with Her Majesty�s New Zealand, Australian and Canadian Ships. Sampson, at the request of the government of New Zealand, remained off the coast of New Zealand�s South Island to offer assistance to those affected by the recent earthquake.
