161027-N-WS581-348 ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 27, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class Ashley Wilson, from Macon, Mo., pushes a GBU31 bomb onto an aircraft elevator aboard the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Wilson serves as an aviation ordnanceman and is responsible for assembling and maintaining ordnance for the ship. The ship and its Carrier Strike Group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
