CARRIBEAN SEA (Oct. 13, 2016) – Landing craft utility 1644, assigned to Assault Craft Unit 2 enters teh well deck of the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) during well deck operations. Iwo Jima and the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit are underway to provide disaster relief and humanitarian aid to Haiti following Hurricane Matthew.
