CARRIBEAN SEA (Oct. 13, 2016) – An CH-53E Super Stallion, attached to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 365, departs the flight deck of the amphibious transport dock ship USS Mesa Verde (LPD 19). Mesa Verde was relieved by the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) as the lead Navy support ship of humanitarian aid/ disaster relief missions in the wake of Hurricane Matthew.
