Deputy Chief Staff – Security Assistance and Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan commanding general, Maj. Gen. Rick Kaiser, along with Petty Officer 3rd Class Brandon Cox and Cmdr. Kevin West cut the U.S. Navy 241st birthday cake. Kaiser was the event's Guest of Honor and Cox and West were the youngest and oldest Sailors present, respectively. More than 200 people from different service branches and various NATO countries attended the ceremony which featured and Capt.(SEAL) Grant Staats as the guest speaker.
