161007-N-YL053-011 YOKOSUKA, Japan (Oct. 7, 2016) Commanding Officer of the U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), Capt. Matt Paradise, Executive Officer Cmdr. Jason Eckhardt, Master Chief Charles Ziervogel, Chaplain Junsub Um, and Seaman Jaylien Washington pose for a photo to conclude Suicide Awareness month. For the month of September USS Blue Ridge folded more than 2,700 paper cranes, wishing for zero successful suicides or attempts on board. Forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan, in Japanese folk lore folding 1,000 paper cranes grants the ability to make one wish. (U.S. Navy photo by Petty Officer 3rd Class Don Patton/RELEASED)
