161005-N-TV337-083 ARABIAN GULF (Oct. 5, 2016) Petty Officer 3rd Class William Sweat directs an MH-60S Sea Hawk helicopter assigned to the Dusty Dogs of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 7 on the flight deck of the guided-missile cruiser USS San Jacinto (CG 56). Sweat serves as a boatswain’s mate on San Jacinto and is responsible for the safe launch and recovery of all aircraft aboard the ship. San Jacinto, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
