CARTAGENA, Colombia (Sept. 12, 2016) - Lt. Ryan Cahill, assigned to Fleet Logistics Center San Diego, passes out snacks to local children. Lt. Cahill is currently deployed as part of Southern Partnership Station 2016’s (SPS 16) Construction Engagement Team in Cartagena constructing a new latrine building for the Cabildo Indigena Zenu community. Once completed the community will no longer rely on outhouse style facilities. SPS 16 is an annual series of U.S. Navy deployments, fostering a lasting relationship with the people of Central and South America through exercises, operations and community relation projects.
