USS Mason (DDG 87) Patrol Craft Exercises
160910-N-GK781-010 ARABIAN SEA (Sept. 10, 2016) The Cyclone-class patrol crafts USS Tempest (PC 2) and USS Squall (PC 7) conduct formation exercises with the guided-missile destroyer USS Mason (DDG 87) while a MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopter of the Swamp Foxes of Helicopter Maritime Strike (HSM) 74 observes. Mason, deployed as part of the Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group, is supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
