(Aug. 15, 2016) Two midshipman candidates with their legs tied together work to run with their sandbags in the relay station of the joint New Student Orientation competition to score points for their team at Camp Navajo, Arizona. Candidates were divided into six teams and rotated through six stations. The weeklong NSO training took place Aug. 12-19, with half combined in the Flagstaff area alongside freshman candidates from the University of New Mexico and Arizona State University NROTC units, and the second half at The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
