160807-N-EH218-161 PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 7, 2016) Families watch as Sailors aboard Ticonderoga-class guided-missile cruiser USS Mobile Bay (CG 53) fire the MK-45 5-inch gun while conducting a sea-power demonstration during a tiger cruise. Tiger cruise is an opportunity for Sailors to invite their family and friends to experience life underway aboard a Navy ship. Providing a combat-ready force to protect collective maritime interests, Mobile Bay is on a regularly scheduled Western Pacific deployment.
