160802-N-TR165-087 KUANTAN, Malaysia (Aug 02, 2016) Rear Adm. Dato' Azhari Bin Abdul Rashid, commander Naval Region 1 of the Royal Malaysian Navy, gives a tour to Vice Adm. C. Forrest Faison III, Surgeon General of the U.S. Navy, following the Pacific Partnership 2016 opening ceremony. The visit will mark the first time Pacific Partnership has visited Malaysia. Partner nations will work side-by-side with local military and non-government organizations to conduct cooperative health engagements, community relation events, engineering capability projects and subject matter expert exchanges to better prepare for natural disaster or crisis.
