Jeff Farmer, commanding officer of the Wildcats of Strike Figther Squadron (VFA) 131 makes the 1,000th arrested landing of his career as he pilots an F/A-18C Hornet on the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69). Dwight D. Eisenhower and its carrier strike group are deployed in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
